"This is a fantastic planner! 18 months (with the following year planner on 2 pages) allows for longer range planning than a standard 12 month calendar. The big monthly layout with plenty of room for notes can be used for lots of different things: project planning, preparing for a move, wedding or birth. You can use it to track your exercise. Students can use it to keep up on assignments, projects, papers and exams. I use it to plan my blogs. The book is very slim and portable. And, the paper is fabulous. "I like the layout a lot - finally got used to the quirky weekends. One reviewer mentioned difficulty in getting refills - I bought my first one from B & N and also found they no longer sold them, but managed to contact Alko in Berkley and they shipped it out to me immediately with zero hassles. I find one thing in this planner really strange ---- the atlas maps do not feature Mexico, Central America or the Caribbean. That oversight is grating for those of us who live in the region!"

"The Monthly 4 layout helps me to plan and manage competing sets of demands that have due dates weeks or months away. Having Saturday and Sunday side by side helps in planning students' participation in speech and debate tournaments that many times cover both weekend days."

"The Good: Monthly format The Bad: -Weeks are Monday-Sunday. I like Sunday-Saturday, like a regular calendar -lots of extra writing. Seems they are afraid of blank space. For example, I don't need to see the month eight times acrsoo the top. I don't need the day of the year and days left. I don't want labels like "priority, phone, fax, write, see/do". Leave it blank!"

"This planner is o.k., BUT you cannot get refills for it! I was assured Barnes and Noble would have it when I bought the planner from them, but they don't - couldn't even find it in their catalog! THIS is the difference between a good planner and a so-so one - CAN you keep the same one year after year, without a lot of trouble. Not so, in this case. Am moving to a brand with more readily available refills, and will avoid this one henceforth."

"Love the cover and quality but I cannot get used to Sunday being at the end of the week instead of at the beginning! Please consider starting the week with Sunday and making it the same size box in future refills or I will change to a different planner."

"Love the 18 month and the extras at the end, especially the maps. Have problems sometimes with the Mon-Sun layout since most calendars or Sun-Sat. Would recommend shading Sat/Sun a light gray or blue to make it stand out. Also, would like Sun the same size as the other days. "

"I like the six row format, it prevents the 1st and 31st of the month from getting cut in half. Having Sat. and Sun. together at the weekend makes sense, but it is too unconventional for me -- I couldn't get used to it."
